Blessing! My name is Latisha Allen- Porter. I have worked as an educator in the City of Milwaukee for 10 years, as a licensed birth to 3rd grade teacher and administrator. I have an Associate Degree in Foundations of Teacher education, a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Studies, and A Masters Degree in Education Policy and Communication Studies, with the certificate to serve students with disabilities and navigate inclusive classroom/learning spaces. It is my mission to provide strategies and techniques to current and new teachers who have similar mindset on wanting to see our community prosper. In order to see the change, we have to be the change. Also, in order to stop the cycle of hopelessness in our communities we must proactively start at birth so that we don’t have to be reactive to traumas, Instead we prevent them! Let’s work together be the change for our educational (school) systems and our babies!
